The Scriptures : We believe the Bible to be the Holy Spirit-inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
The Trinity : We believe there is only one true God, eternally self-existent as one Being in three separate persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
a. God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, and the Redeemer of mankind.
b. Jesus Christ is the eternal and only Son of God. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were made. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is God's Anointed One, empowered by the Spirit to inaugurate God's Kingdom on earth. He lived a sinless life but was crucified for our sins. He literally died, was buried, resurrected, and ascended into Heaven, and is now alive today, in the presence of God the Father and in His people.
c. Holy Spirit is God, and was active in the Old Testament and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost. He empowers the saints for service and witness, cleanses man from the old nature, and conforms us to the image of Christ.
Salvation : We believe we are saved by God's grace, through faith in the person and atoning work of Jesus Christ. Man fell from our created good and upright state, thus separating us from God. Any person can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing, and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, justifies, and adopts us as we enter the Kingdom of God as His sons and daughters.
Holy Spirit : We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live holy and minister His supernatural gifts for the edification of the Body of Christ. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4, is subsequent to conversion and an experience every believer should seek. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is poured out so believers might have power to be witnesses, as well as release the fullness of the Spirit as evidenced by the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Christian Living : The victorious and redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy , sin, lies, sickness, and torment. Healing and deliverance were provided for in Christ,s atoning death on the cross. The shortcomings of individuals and of the Church are because of the still progressing sanctification of the saints.
The Church : The Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. We exist to worship God and make disciples until we, His Body, become His image and likeness. We also advance His Kingdom by preaching, baptizing, and teaching them to love and obey God.
Ordinances : He gave His church the ordinances of Baptism and Communion. Baptism by immersion in water publicly identifies with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, and declares to the world this same death and resurrection to walk in newness of life. The Lord's Supper, bread and fruit of the vine, also symbolize and identify us with His suffering, death, and second coming.
Blessed Hope and Eternity : We believe in the Blessed hope, which is the glorious visible return of Jesus Christ for His Bride, the Church. Heaven and hell are real places. The saved will enter into everlasting life and those who have rejected the truth of Christ will enter into everlasting death. After the Final Judgment, we will see new heavens and a new earth, wherein righteousness dwells.
Human Life and Marriage : We believe in the sanctity of human life that begins at the moment of conception. We also believe in the chastity of Christian singles, and the sacredness of marriage, defined as a union between a man and a woman.
