Why does God promise us blessings, but then permits satan to bring cancer, and diseases upon people?
God has the power to keep us whole, and the same time to permit sickness from the devil. Why does He do this allowing harm to come upon us when it isn't fair?

I'm afraid this is wrong on so many levels.
i think it is pretty obvious that this person does NOT have that realtionship with Christ, that Scripture talks about.
First we have this:

What KIND of "blessings" is this person talking about? When the person asking the question doesn't explain themselves, how are we supposed to answer them? That is the problem that is in the Religion & Spirituality section of Yahoo Answers. And I can't help but think that it is deliberate, so those of us who DO know Christ WON'T be able to answer the question completely.

This is where it clearly shows that this question is NOT Biblically based.
I don't care whether atheists/non-believers want to call this a "cop-out" or not. This is Scriptural.
Death, disease, sickness-they didn't exist before Adam & Eve sinned.

Everything was VERY GOOD!
God is perfect. By His very nature, He CANNOT create anything bad.
Sickness, disease, & everything else is NOT from Satan.
It is from man's disobedience to God, that brings all of this-NOT Satan.
If Adam & Eve had NOT disobeyed God, there wouldn't BE any of this.
It had nothing to do with God "allowing" Satan to to anything-that is NOT Scriptural.
MAN is responsible for this-NOT God. I talks about this here:

When this person who asked this question can show me ONE SINGLE VERSE anywhere in Scripture where God says that we will never have any problems-THEN & ONLY THEN, will they have a case.
Only after Satan, & all his followers have been cast into the Lake of Fire, will we have a perfect world, a world without sickness, a world without death, as described here:

Man is to blame for how screwed-up this world is-NOT God, NOT Satan.
